Edgar Chagharyan and Karen Sedrakyan Elected as Members of the Competition Protection Commission

The results of the elections for members of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition were summarized in the Parliament. The head of the NA Accounting Committee, Vahagn Hovakimyan, presented the voting results. According to this, 87 out of 132 MPs participated in the voting.

Out of the candidates, Edgar Chagharyan received votes in favor from 75 MPs and 12 against. Chagharyan was elected for a term of two years.

Karen Sedrakyan's candidacy received support from 78 MPs, with 8 against, and 1 ballot was invalidated. Sedrakyan has been elected for a term of one year.
