Armenia to Launch Transit Flights for Georgia
The Armenian airline Armenia will implement transit flights to promote tourism in Georgia. This was reported by Russian media, according to Alik Media.
The flights will operate on the routes Gyumri-Moscow-Gyumri and Gyumri-Batumi-Gyumri. Additionally, there will be an increase in the frequency of Tbilisi-Yerevan and Yerevan-Tbilisi flights.
The flights from Armenia will commence on July 8.
It is noteworthy that following the tensions in relations between Georgia and Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree prohibiting Russian airlines from operating flights to Georgia starting July 8.
