Video: Theft at a Yerevan Store Causes 150,000 AMD Property Damage

In the investigation of a criminal case being handled by the Shengavit administrative district of the Yerevan city investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, measures are being taken to identify the individuals who allegedly committed theft from a store. This has been reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

According to preliminary data, on May 11, 2019, from 00:00 to 10:00, individuals allegedly committed the crime by gaining access to a store located at Bagratuniants address in Yerevan using technical means, stealing 50,000 AMD from the cash register and various types of clothing from the store, resulting in property damage of 150,000 AMD.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Shengavit administrative district investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee under the first and third points of part 2 of article 177 of the RA Criminal Code.

During the pre-trial investigation, surveillance footage from the store has been obtained and is undergoing examination. Measures are being taken to identify the individuals captured on video, ensuring a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation of the criminal case.

The Investigative Committee requests that the mentioned individuals come forward to the investigating authority, or anyone who recognizes them or has any information about their identity or whereabouts, to inform the Shengavit administrative district investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee.
