A passenger plane operated by Angara Airlines, an AN-24, made an emergency landing at the Nizhneangarsk Airport in Russia’s Buryatia region.
Two pilots have died, and according to rescue services, 19 people have been hospitalized. There were 43 passengers on board, including one child.
On June 27, while flying from Nizhneangarsk to Ulan-Ude, one of the aircraft's engines failed. The crew decided to return to the airport.
