VIDEO: Footage Released of Man Held Hostage by Bear for a Month

A man named Alexander, living in the Tuva region of Russia, survived for about a month in a bear's den with a broken spine. This was reported to EADaily by Alexander's relatives.

The local residents found him with the help of dogs; he was in an extremely emaciated condition, suffering from numerous serious injuries and deep wounds inflicted by the bear. Alexander recounted that he was attacked by the bear, which broke his spine, but instead of eating him, the animal dragged him into its den and kept him for 'later.'
