Rescue Workers in Armenia Retrieve U.S. Citizen from River

On June 24, at 18:04, the emergency hotline '911' received a report that a citizen had injured their leg and was unable to get out of the river near the Shaki waterfall in the Syunik region, prompting the need for rescue assistance.

A firefighting rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers retrieved S.H. (a U.S. citizen born in 1990) from the river and brought them to an ambulance. Medical staff assessed the victim's health condition as satisfactory.
