In Fish Farm, Not Only Stolen Fish Feed Found but Also Drugs and Weapons
Recently, police received operational information indicating that a resident of the Sis community in the Armavir region had acquired stolen fish and fish feed. According to the police, on June 10, officers from the Organized Crime Division, Armavir Regional Police, and the Masis Division conducted a search at a fish farm in the Sis community based on a court order.
As a result, 44 bags of various types and weights of fish feed were discovered in two storage rooms. Moreover, 7 paper packages filled with a greenish dried, crushed substance and a polyethylene bag containing greenish seed-like substance were unearthed from a bedroom of a stone building.
From a semi-constructed greenhouse at the same address, 47 cultivated cannabis plants were seized. Additionally, the owner presented to the police 15 more packages filled with greenish dried, crushed substance and a container with the same substance from his private house in the Sis village. He also submitted two shotguns with factory numbers and a submachine gun along with its magazine containing 10 cartridges.
According to the fish farm owner's statement, the packages contain cannabis for personal use. The owner has been taken into custody by the Masis police on suspicion of acquiring property through criminal means, possessing illegal drugs and using them, as well as holding illegal weapons and ammunition. Expert examinations have been appointed, and an investigation is underway.
