VIDEO: Former Head of Dzorakap Community's Violations

Based on operational information received from the National Security Service of Armenia, joint efforts by the police's main department for combating organized crime, the anti-corruption and economic crimes department, Shirak regional divisions, and the Ani division have revealed the violations committed by the former head of the Dzorakap community.

In particular, according to preliminary data, acting in the interests of a group and abusing his official position, he produced and validated false extracts in 2014, endorsed with his signature and the community seal.

In the same year, he sent letters with false content to the head of the Shirak regional subdivision of the State Committee for Immovable Property Cadastre, claiming that two plots of land of varying sizes were allocated to a resident of the community from the area known as “Sarnaghbyur intersection” under the 1991 decision of the Dzorakap village council committee. Based on this, the resident obtained a state registration of the right of common ownership over those plots of land, which allowed him to sign a contract with the “North-South Road Corridor Investment Program Implementation Organization” and receive compensation of approximately 84 million drams.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the evident criminal acts, and it has been sent to the investigative committee for further investigation.
