Armenian Wrestler Defeats Turkish Rival 10:0
At the Greco-Roman wrestling European Championship for youths held in Italy, Edmond Nazaryan clinched a gold medal for Bulgaria for the second consecutive year. He is the son of Armenia's first Olympic champion, Armen Nazaryan. In the final of the 51 kg category, Edmond Nazaryan won decisively against Turkish wrestler Barış Erbek with a score of 10:0.
In the quarterfinals, he eliminated Azerbaijani representative Nihad Guluzade. In the semifinals, Nazaryan secured victory over Armenia's own Armen Harutyunyan, who later competed for the bronze medal against Guluzade, winning 6:3, as reported by News.am.
