VIDEO: Fire Erupts in Yerevan's Yerablur Area Extinguished, 20 Trees Burned
The fire that broke out in the 'Yerablur Pantheon' area was extinguished on June 18 at 17:59. In a 5000 square meter grass area, 50 cubic meters of tree branches were burned, 10 trees were partially burned, 10 trees were completely destroyed, and 1 kiosk (4 square meters) was affected.
It is recalled that on June 17 at 14:30, the Emergency Situations Service received a call reporting a fire near the Yerablur Pantheon in Yerevan, where a grass area was burning. Firefighters responded to the situation with a complexity rating of '1-BIS', sending four fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with emergency response and operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center.
It was determined that the fire was affecting a 5000 square meter grass area and accumulated hay. Two additional fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. Since 23:50, rescuers have been on duty in the affected area.
