Fact: 'Cleansing' of Formerly Corrupt Regime Representatives
According to the newspaper 'Fact', it became known the day before that Ashot Musayan, the deputy head of the State Cadastre Committee, has been removed from his position. Notably, Musayan is a veteran in the field, having worked in the State Cadastre Committee for over 20 years.
Discussions within the Committee suggest that this dismissal fits into the 'logic' of the personnel changes taking place in Armenia since the change of power, where authorities are engaged in a unique 'cleansing' and are gradually removing representatives of the 'previous corrupt regime,' regardless of how experienced or professional these individuals may be.
The critical factor is to ensure that absolute loyalists can be placed in their stead.
