Driver in Yerevan Hits Two 18-Year-Old Pedestrians with BMW
On June 19, a hit-and-run incident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, around 00:20, a 30-year-old resident of Yerevan, Ara M., struck two pedestrians with his BMW vehicle, plate number 36 DP 436, near the address of 70/4 Zoravar Andranik Street in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.
The victims, 18-year-old Vahe H. and 18-year-old Arman A., were taken to the Holy Mother of God Medical Center with bodily injuries. Officers from the first patrol squad of the Traffic Police arrived at the scene.
The information about the incident was reported by Arshak Grigoryan, the duty officer at the Yerevan Traffic Police's operational management center, to the division responsible for investigating traffic accidents and conducting administrative proceedings. A responding group led by senior investigator Ararat Tevosyan is currently preparing materials regarding the incident.
