Opel Astra Overturns on Gyumri-Yerevan Highway, Driver Hospitalized

On June 17, at 03:59, the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry's '911' service received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Gyumri-Yerevan highway at the 22nd kilometer. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that an 'Opel Astra G' (driver: A.O., born in 1980) had veered off the roadway and overturned. As a result of the incident, the driver sustained various bodily injuries and was hospitalized at the Gyumri Medical Center, where doctors assessed the driver's condition as moderate.

Rescue personnel disconnected the vehicle's power supply and closed the gas cylinder valve.
