Three US Citizens Report Indecent Acts in Yerevan Park

According to Shamshyan.com, materials are being prepared by the police department regarding an incident that occurred on June 16 in Yerevan.

At around 22:30, officers from the 1st company of the 1st battalion of the police department in Yerevan were on duty on Beirut Street when several citizens approached them reporting that an individual was disturbing them in a park dedicated to Yerevan's 2800th anniversary and had performed indecent acts towards one of them.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the 'red berets' apprehended and brought to the Central Police Department a 24-year-old resident of Yerevan, Vahan Khachatryan, on suspicion of committing these acts.

According to the photojournalist, those who sought the assistance of the 'red berets' are United States citizens: 17-year-old K. Sh., 15-year-old K. K., and 18-year-old S. B. K. Sh. reported that V. Khachatryan had committed indecent acts against him.
