Body of 57-Year-Old Iranian Found Hanging in Nubarashen Prison
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an extraordinary incident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 1:30 PM, security personnel from the Ministry of Justice's Nubarashen penitentiary found the body of a detainee hanging from a beam in the designated walking area of building No. 6.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, operational groups from the Erebuni Division of the police, as well as officials from the Ministry of Justice's Corrections Department, rushed to the scene. A team from the Investigative Committee of Armenia, led by investigator Gagik Azaryan, particularly addressing significant cases, also arrived at the venue.
It has been revealed that the deceased was 57-year-old Albert Hamuni Aleksandramujembaryasaln, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to G. Shamshyan's information, he was detained under the 3rd part of Article 266 of the RA Criminal Code.
In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared by G. Azaryan.
