Pashinyan Held Serious and Tough Discussion with Arsen Torosyan

The newspaper "Past" reports: "The newspaper has received information that recently Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a rather serious and tough conversation with Health Minister Arsen Torosyan regarding the application of the "Gardasil" vaccine and the noise surrounding it.

As is known, Torosyan is one of the advocates for the application of the vaccine. According to our sources, the reason for the Prime Minister's anger was the assessments provided by several experts regarding the applicability of the "Gardasil" vaccine, which stated that this vaccine may not be such a suitable option and has not undergone proper testing.

We attempted to verify the information with the Ministry of Health. "We deny this information; there is no such thing," responded Alina Nikoghosyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Health.

By the way, according to our information, the expiration date of the vaccine doses available in Armenia is set to expire in October of this year, and the consumption is not at the levels that were expected. As a result, the question arises as to what volume is being discussed, since, regardless of the sources of funding, it would mean "throwing money to the wind." Regarding this issue, the ministry advised us to send a written inquiry, which we have done. If we receive a response within the relevant timeframe, we will present it."
