VIDEO: Fire at ‘Chinar’ Restaurant and Several Floors of Residential Building

A fire broke out at 28 Moskovyan Street in Yerevan, affecting the flue pipes of the ‘Chinar’ restaurant and several floors of the residential building. This information was reported by the Emergency Situations Ministry's press service.

On June 13, a fire ignited at the mentioned address, completely burning the insulation layer of the flue pipes of the ‘Chinar’ restaurant. Windows on the 8th and 9th floors of the 4th entrance of the residential building were partially damaged, while the windows on the 6th and 7th floors suffered thermal damage.

Four firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service and emergency response teams from the National Crisis Management Center were dispatched to the scene with a ‘1-BIS’ alarm due to the complexity of the fire. The fire was contained at 12:18 PM and extinguished by 12:30 PM.
