Pashinyan's Lawyer Demands 650,000 Dram Compensation from Kocharian

During the court session of the case of Robert Kocharian against Nikol Pashinyan, the plaintiff's representative, Haik Alumyani, presented a motion stating that they completely withdraw from the claim. However, the respondent's side, represented by Prime Minister's lawyer Gevorg Gyozalyan, put forward a compensation demand directed at Kocharian for 650,000 drams. In response, Alumyani stated that he does not find this amount reasonable given the complexity of the case.

The judicial decision in this case will be published on June 24.

“This lawsuit was pointless. My client, of course, has incurred expenses; as you all know, my client's source of income is his salary, and in order to prevent further baseless lawsuits against my client, yes, we are pursuing a resolution of this issue. Those who present unfounded claims against my client must pay for it,” said Pashinyan's representative, lawyer Gevorg Gyozalyan, in a brief press conference after the session.
