Armenian National Football Team Defeats Greece 3:2
The Armenian national football team achieved a magnificent victory in the 4th round of the Euro 2020 qualifying phase, defeating Greece 3:2 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.
The Armenian team started aggressively and opened the scoring in the 8th minute, with Alexander Karapetyan finding the back of the net. In the 33rd minute, Gevorg Ghazaryan scored the second goal for Armenia.
Greece reduced the deficit in the 54th minute with a goal from Carlos Zequen. However, Armenia increased their lead in the 74th minute with a third goal from Tigran Barseghyan. In the 87th minute, Kostas Fortounis of Greece once again narrowed the score, bringing it to 3:2.
