Armed Robbery at Haybusinessbank: Gunfire Heard

An armed man has stormed into the Haybusinessbank branch located on Totovents Street in Nor Nork.

On June 10, at around 5:30 PM, a man entered the bank with a hunting rifle. The police officer from the main department of state protection, who was providing security in the bank, immediately grabbed the weapon's barrel upon seeing him and attempted to disarm the man. During this struggle, a shot was fired. The police officer managed to wrestle the firearm from the suspect and, with the help of civilians, apprehended the man inside the bank.

The operational team from the Nor Nork police station and other officers from the main department of state protection were summoned to the scene, where the man was taken into custody. The Police of Armenia reports that he is a 46-year-old resident of Yerevan.

The weapon used in the crime has been confiscated, and the circumstances of the incident are under investigation. According to Sputnik Armenia, there was a minor child present in the bank at the time of the incident. Preliminary information indicates that there were no injuries.
