Video: The Haghpat Monastery Complex Caught Fire

Last night, the "911" emergency service received a call reporting a fire in a single-story building located within the Haghpat Monastery complex in the Lori region. Assistance from firefighters was required.

A team of four fire and rescue units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with an operational group from the regional rescue administration, were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished after three hours, with part of the monastery's residence (675 square meters) being burned, along with property inside (about 375 square meters).
