However, the situation took a different turn, and the attack was thwarted.

The Masis police were informed about the incident by the operational management center. It was essential to reach the scene as soon as possible, as the developments were unpredictable and could turn fatal at any moment.

There were indeed developments. Citizens intervened and disarmed the 41-year-old man who attacked, injuring his face in the process of falling.

The law enforcement officers transported him to the hospital. After receiving medical assistance, the man was taken to the Masis police station.

The victim was invited to the police station. According to her, she had exited a supermarket after shopping when a man approached her from behind, openly seized her wallet, and fled. "He looked to be about 40 years old, of average height, and bald," said the victim.
