The Online Registration System for First Graders Operates Smoothly

Since May 15, 2019, the online registration system for first graders in Yerevan's public schools has been launched. This system aims to guarantee equal starting conditions for all children enrolling in school, eliminate corruption risks, and address issues related to underloading or overloading of certain schools. This was announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

Due to technical issues recorded during the system's launch, the Ministry received applications from parents facing difficulties in registration, amounting to about one percent of the total number of applicants.

The National Center for Educational Technologies (NCET) has thoroughly examined all applications, as the online registration system has documented the actions of all users accessing the system, including the date and time of access and any issues encountered.

All parents who faced registration difficulties due to technical problems in the initial phase of the system have been given the opportunity to register their children at their preferred school.

It is worth noting that the system has been operating without disruptions since its launch, and every parent has been able to register their child in a preferred school, provided there are available spots as defined by the licensing regulations.

The online registration process continues, and the results of the registration and confirmation can be followed on the Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education and NCET.
