Another Citizen Reports to Police in Vardan Harutyunyan Assault Case

Recently, one of the participants in the incident involving opposition activist Vardan Harutyunyan was taken into custody by the police.

Tert.am inquired with the Police Information Department regarding the developments related to the incident concerning Vardan Harutyunyan. The department confirmed that the identity of another participant in the incident has also been established.

"Due to the explanatory work carried out by police officers, one citizen voluntarily presented themselves to the police and was subsequently brought before the investigating body," the police reported.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the police had informed that on June 3, Vardan Harutyunyan, a Facebook user, had called the operational management center of the Yerevan police and reported that he had been attacked in the yard of building 3/A on Terian Street. A criminal case was initiated by the police under Article 118 of the RA Criminal Code.
