Why Manvel Grigoryan Refused Treatment
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," Manvel Grigoryan has been transferred to a hospital for inmates against his will. "This hospital does not have the capability to provide adequate medical care for such a patient; even those with lighter illnesses are directed to civilian hospitals from here," said Dr. Artak Manukyan, Grigoryan’s physician, adding that Grigoryan has categorically refused treatment, including insulin, which he receives in large doses.
What will happen next? “He could fall into a coma.” And? “It's not my place to answer that.” Is it true that there is a demand that if he pays a certain amount of money, like the others, he will be released from custody, and moreover, is it true that the authorities are still “searching” for a significant amount of gold that was mentioned during the general's arrest? “We only deal with treatment regarding such matters; it's up to law enforcement to address those issues.”
