Preliminary Conclusion on Amulsar Mine Investigation Received

The Investigative Committee has received the preliminary conclusion of the comprehensive examination aimed at the exploitation of the Amulsar gold-bearing quartzite mine, which assesses the impact on water resources and geology. This was stated by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Republic of Armenia's Investigative Committee, on her Facebook page.

"The conclusion consists of 150 pages and is currently in the translation phase. The full conclusion of the comprehensive examination will be provided to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia within the timeframe specified by the contract," Harutyunyan wrote.
