Gazprom Armenia to Be Fined 10 Million Drams
In accordance with the annual work plan of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia for 2019, monitoring was conducted at Gazprom Armenia CJSC from February 28 to March 6 to verify the reliability of the information submitted by the company regarding the new connection process.
According to the official website of the PSRC, the agenda for the commission's meeting tomorrow includes the issue of imposing a fine on Gazprom Armenia CJSC. The monitoring results indicated that in some cases, the rules for the supply and use of natural gas established by the commission's decision were not followed, as well as the requirements of the license conditions for the distribution of natural gas granted to the company.
The commission has decided to impose a fine of 10 million drams on the company for violating the license conditions. The issue will be discussed at tomorrow's meeting.
