Body of 40-Year-Old Man Discovered: Preliminary Reports Indicate a Dispute Occurred
On June 4, a mysterious incident occurred in the Lori region.
According to Shamshyan.com, at around 14:00, a call was received at the Lori regional police department's duty unit stating that there was a body in one of the houses on Yerevanian Street in the town of Tashir. An operative group from the Lori regional police department arrived at the scene, led by Chief of Police, Colonel Gevorg Hakobyan.
Investigators from the Lori regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee also arrived, led by Chief Justice Colonel Anna Mantashyan. Police and investigators established that the deceased was 40-year-old Vahan Galustyan, a resident of house number 220 on the aforementioned street.
At the investigator's request, several expert examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body. Police and investigators found blood-like traces inside the house and near the gate. Preliminary reports suggest that a dispute had occurred beforehand.
