What Property Does Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan Have?

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, submitted his annual declaration for 2018 to the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials on May 14, 2019.

According to the document submitted to the commission, there are no details regarding movable property in Tonoyan's declaration.

As of the beginning of the 2018 tax year, Tonoyan's cash assets in AMD amounted to 2,500,000 AMD, which increased to 2,850,000 AMD by the end of the tax year.

Tonoyan's income, according to the declaration, was generated from his salary and pension.

In 2018, Tonoyan received 8,145,082 AMD as compensation for work and/or other payments equalized to it, as well as 1,796,160 AMD as a pension.

As a result, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan's total annual income for 2018 was 9,941,242 AMD.
