Arsenal Players Forbidden to Hold Support Action for Mkhitaryan

UEFA has prohibited Arsenal players from conducting any actions in support of Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the Europa League final.

According to the British newspaper The Daily Mail, the Gunners discussed how they could support the Armenian midfielder, who, for security reasons, could not travel with the team to the capital of Azerbaijan.

The players had wanted to take to the training pitch wearing shirts bearing Mkhitaryan's name. However, internal sources from UEFA have reported that any such action is prohibited.

The team’s playing kits, as well as the shirts worn by the victorious team after the match, must be approved by UEFA.
