9 Individuals Detained, Found with 4 Packages of Cannabis-like Substance

A group of individuals suspected of illegal drug possession was detained, and during personal searches and vehicle inspections, cannabis seeds were discovered. This was reported by the police of Armenia.

During the night of May 17, between 13:40 and 14:00, 9 individuals living in the Shirak region were detained from various streets of Artik city, four of whom were in a vehicle.

From under one of the vehicles, 4 packages of a dried cannabis-like substance weighing a total of 25.84 grams were discovered, while in the trunk of a detained Nissan Tida, 2 packages of the same substance weighing about 10 grams were found.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Artik police department regarding the incident. The seized items have been sent for forensic chemical examination. The investigation is ongoing.
