Arms and Ammunition Discovered While Collecting Vegetables in Kashatagh

On May 18, at 11:05 AM, a 49-year-old resident of Kapan approached the police station following explanatory work conducted by the Kapan police. He handed over 100 rounds of 5.45 mm caliber ammunition, one ‘F-1’ hand grenade, one ‘RGD-5’ hand grenade, and a smoothbore hunting firearm with a caliber of 16. The individual reported that he found these items earlier that day, around 9:30 AM, in the area known as ‘Yemazlu’ in the Kashatagh region of Artsakh while he was collecting vegetables.

A forensic examination has been ordered.
