Court Rejects Arrest Request for Owner of '5th Channel'

In a closed hearing, the court rejected the request to arrest Armen Tavadyan, the owner of '5th Channel'.

Recall that on May 17, 2019, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia charged Armen Tavadyan under Article 258, Part 4 of the RA Criminal Code (hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon).

Earlier, it was reported that the owner of TV5 was facing charges, and a request for his arrest had been submitted.
