Gasparian Recognized as a Victim

On May 13, as part of the criminal case initiated regarding the incident that occurred near the court building of the Avan and Nor Nork districts of Yerevan, civil activist Vardges Gasparian has been interrogated and recognized as a victim.

This was stated by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the information and public relations department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, in response to a question from Armenian Time.

It is reported that Gasparian was struck with a bottle by Armen Tavadeyan, the director of TV5. Tavadeyan was detained by the police on the same day of the incident.
