Charges Filed Against TV5 Owner: Will He Be Arrested?

Civil activist Vardges Gaspary's case has just seen charges filed against Armen Tavadyan, the owner of '5th Channel'. He is accused under Article 258, Part 4 of the RA Criminal Code (hooliganism committed using a weapon or an object used as a weapon).

This information was confirmed in an interview with Armtimes.com by Naira Harutyunyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

According to Harutyunyan, the investigative body has submitted a motion to the court for Tavadyan's arrest.

Previously, we reported that Vardges Gasparian had filed a complaint with the police regarding being assaulted.

Naira Harutyunyan also informed that Vardges Gasparian has been interrogated and recognized as a victim.
