Are We Not on Fire? Protest Action

“We will not leave here until the architect of Yerevan or the mayor accepts us. Until we meet, we will not go. Are we not on fire? This is the history of the Armenians, what is it? How much longer can we go back and forth? We want to hear a clear response,” said the residents of Kond during a conversation with the press secretary of Yerevan’s mayor, Hakob Karapetyan, as they organized a protest in front of the Yerevan municipality this morning.

The citizens added that they have been coming and going since 2011. They emphasize that they demand new measurements to be made, coordinating with both the Cadastre and the Yerevan municipality.
