Senior Kindergarten Children Can Attend Until August 30

Children in senior kindergarten classes of city-run preschools can continue attending until August 30, inclusively. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor's spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan.

“Good news for children and parents of graduating kindergarten groups. Senior kindergarten children in city-run preschools can continue attending until August 30, inclusively.

This concerns approximately 9,700 children. Previously, after the end-of-year reporting events, children would go home, which created certain difficulties for working parents during July and August. We are now effectively resolving this issue.

Moreover, the educators and assistants of the graduating groups can take their annual leave, as the municipality has allocated additional financial resources for substitute staff in these groups during this period.”
