Good News from the Municipality for Working Parents

The press secretary of the Yerevan municipality, Hakob Karapetyan, announced that children in the senior groups of municipal kindergartens can continue attending pre-school educational institutions until August 30 inclusive.

“Children in the senior groups of municipal kindergartens can continue attending pre-school educational institutions until August 30 inclusive.

This concerns 9,700 children. Previously, after the accountability graduation events, children would go ‘home’, which created certain difficulties for working parents in July and August. Now we are practically solving this issue.

Moreover, the educators and assistants of the graduating children's groups can utilize their annual leave, as the municipality has allocated additional financial resources for replacement staff during this period,” wrote Karapetyan on his Facebook page.
