Why 120 Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Have Not Received Their Salaries
Employees of the State Fire and Technical Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia have been out of work since January 1, 2019, and have been placed in a short-term reserve of personnel. This inspectorate had two functions: investigating the causes of fires that occurred and conducting inspections in various organizations regarding compliance with fire safety regulations, reports ArmLur.am.
Currently, fire investigations are being carried out by the Police of the Republic of Armenia. Approximately 120 employees from this inspectorate have been dismissed. According to the law, these employees should have received their salaries for January, February, and March of 2019, as well as the bonus allocated for February; however, they have only received the salary for January. These employees are unaware of the reason for the delay in the payment of their salaries and bonuses.
