Online System Registers 8,462 First Graders According to the Ministry of Education

On May 15 at 9:00 AM, an online registration system was launched for first graders in public schools of Yerevan.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, as of 6:00 PM, out of approximately 13,000 children eligible to attend the first grade, 8,462 have registered.

At the same time, out of 154 schools included in the system, 20 have filled their licensed slots. Additionally, it was noted that there are still vacancies in schools across all administrative districts of Yerevan.

The Ministry of Education and Science has allocated around 15,000 slots for first graders in Yerevan's public schools, which exceeds the expected number of students by approximately 2,000. During the registration process, a maximum of 1 percent of registrants experienced technical issues related to data entry.

It is also highlighted that the registration system operates around the clock, allowing parents to register online at any time.
