Metro Director Threatens Employees: 'Zhamanak'
'Zhamanak' reports: The highly publicized case of the Yerevan metro, which we previously addressed, has reached an active investigative phase following the initiation of checks by the National Security Service (NSS) and the opening of a criminal case regarding misappropriations.
In recent days, the NSS has been summoning various witnesses and metro employees for questioning. According to our information, however, key responsible employees of the metro, who possess significant information, are feeling constrained. Metro Director Paylak Yaloyan is reportedly forcing all employees to attend NSS questioning exclusively accompanied by his lawyer, warning and threatening them to remain silent.
Indeed, the employees are feeling pressured to provide testimony and share their knowledge in the presence of Yaloyan's lawyer during the NSS interrogations.
