Explosion Threat Reported in Yerevan

On May 13, at 17:22, the 911 emergency service received information that an explosion was expected to occur within 30 minutes at the hotel located at Abovyan 8 in Yerevan. Emergency assistance was requested.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations along with an emergency response team from the National Crisis Management Center were dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers secured the area.

The police canine unit conducted an inspection, and nothing dangerous was found.
