VIDEO: A 30-Year-Old Woman Murdered with Exceptional Cruelty

The court has placed 26-year-old Hakob Ohanyan in custody for the exceptionally cruel murder of a 30-year-old woman in the Ararat region.

On May 9, a report was received at the Masis police station that a deceased woman had been transported to the Masis medical center with signs of beating.

A 26-year-old resident of Yerevan was taken into custody on suspicion of committing murder. His vehicle was transported to the secured area of the Masis police department.

It was reported that the young man had an argument with the 30-year-old woman in the administrative territory of Aintap village. During the altercation, he struck her multiple times with his hands and feet, as well as with a rubber pipe and a key, hitting various parts of her body. He then transported her to the Masis medical center in his car. A criminal case has been initiated on the basis of murder charges. Following interrogation, the young man was arrested as a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
