What Happened to the Chickens Found in the National Assembly Yard
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," when we asked Hakob Simidian, the secretary of the "My Step" faction, about the chickens found in the National Assembly yard, he replied, "To be honest, I learned about this from the media. I didn't really understand why the chickens were in the Assembly; I am not familiar with the situation."
"You are indifferent towards the chickens again," we remarked, as today the Assembly was discussing a project related to animals proposed by the Prosperous Armenia Party. Incidentally, the chickens looked quite beautiful against the backdrop of the green grass in the Assembly yard. "There is a lot of information; we can't keep track of everything. I don’t know what happened to them later," he added.
What did you do with the chickens? We asked the head of the Assembly staff. "We caught them and allocated them for necessary purposes."
Wasn’t it difficult to catch them? "No, it wasn’t difficult, we caught them, and since the chickens were not under our jurisdiction, we formally instructed the security service to allocate them for charitable purposes. By the way, we are planning to breed squirrels in the Assembly area," he mentioned. There also seems to be quite a few cats around. "Yes, we have, but not as many as you mentioned." There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of crows either. "No, there are hardly any crows now; Arthur Baghdasaryan had them shot."
