There Will Be No Surprises Among Those Rallying Around Kocharian: Joghovurd

According to the "Joghourd" newspaper, "Robert Kocharian, who is under arrest for attempting to overthrow the constitutional order of Armenia, stated in an interview with the Reuters agency that opposition parties are rallying at this time and may challenge the new leadership in the near future. Essentially, there will be no surprises here. We are talking about the parties and figures that have always collaborated with Kocharian, both during his time in power and after his arrest.

"Joghourd" tried to get comments from Garnik Isagulyan, the president of the National Security Party. He noted, "For the sake of the unification of the Armenian people, it is possible to rally around any force; we are currently working towards that."

Meanwhile, it became known to us that Kocharian tried to unite before the snap parliamentary elections, aiming to form a political block. However, at the last moment, the forces and individuals who expressed a willingness to collaborate with him immediately "disappeared," and afterwards, Kocharian decided not to participate in the elections, complaining about the lack of courage shown by some."
