Body of National Assembly Senior Specialist Found Hanged in Apartment

A suicide occurred in Yerevan on May 7. Around 8:00 PM, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at their operational management center regarding a resident of an apartment building on H. Emin Street in the Arabkir administrative district who was unresponsive to knocks on the door and phone calls.

According to Shamshyan.com, firefighters and rescuers who arrived at the scene found the body of the homeowner, a 46-year-old woman identified as N. A., hanging from an iron rod above the balcony door in the kitchen, covered by a sheet.

According to G. Shamshyan, N. A. worked as a senior specialist in the correspondence department of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
