Vanadzor School No. 18 Director Suspected of Embezzling Over 20 Million AMD

The director of Vanadzor School No. 18, Armen Marabyan, is suspected of embezzling a substantial amount of money. This was reported to Tert.am by Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

“The director is suspected of hiring relatives who rarely attended work, and embezzling their salaries amounting to over 20 million AMD,” she stated.

Arevik Khachatryan added that a criminal case has been initiated based on Article 179, Part 2, Point 1, Article 179, Part 3, Point 1, and Article 314, Point 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
