12-Year-Old Boy Suffers Cranial Trauma While Playing Football in Ashtarak; Condition Critical, Says Arsen Torosyan

A tragic incident occurred in the town of Ashtarak. According to initial reports, during a football game, a 12-year-old boy went off the field to retrieve the ball from a nearby area. This information was shared on Facebook by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan.

“At that moment, the boy fell onto a reinforced concrete structure and sustained a severe penetrating cranial trauma. He is currently at Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center. I just visited him. His condition is critical. Surgery will begin soon. We will provide additional information,” the minister wrote.
