Plague Outbreak in Mongolia: Tourists Stranded

A plague outbreak in Mongolia has left 17 Russian tourists unable to leave the country. This information has been confirmed by the Russian embassy in Mongolia.

The outbreak was declared following the deaths of two locals in the Bayan-Ölgii province in western Mongolia. As a result, Russian travelers are stranded and unable to return home from the area.
