Polish Tourist Missing in Yerevan, Embassy Reports

A Polish citizen, Daniel Owczarek, has gone missing in Armenia. This has been reported by the Embassy of Poland in Armenia on their Facebook page.

"The Embassy of Poland is requesting assistance in locating the Polish tourist who arrived in Armenia. He arrived in Armenia by taxi from Tbilisi. On April 30th of this year, at midnight, he checked into the New Yerevan Hotel located on Arami Street.

He left the hotel on May 1st, before noon, and has not been heard from since. Daniel Owczarek left his mobile phone in his hotel room. Photos taken during his visit to Armenia may help in determining his whereabouts.

It is possible that one of the men in the photos may be the driver Daniel traveled with while in Armenia. A distinctive feature of Daniel is that he limps on his right leg.
